Victory Tentena

Noni is a super nice person. She helped us arranging transportation to Bada Valley as well as to Rantepao and gave tips what to visit and where you find restaurants in Tentena.

When I felt sick she was really helpful, offered her help and even asked if we want to changed to a better room. If you have a special wish or need she tries her best to fulfill it. I‘m allergic to wheat and after telling her, she always prepared a special breakfast for me.

You can feel that Noni loves running the Hotel and looking for her guests. I can highly recommend to stay there!

We stayed here last summer for a couple of nights and i really recommend it for everyone who is planning on visiting Tentena and its surroundings!

Our host Noni was incredibly kind and helped us with everything. She organised cheap bus and shared taxi seats as well as a motorbike rental.

What really stood out to me was the incredible hospitality! My partner got sick during her time there and Noni went out of her way to help her recover, even cooking something specials for her.

Room wise it was basic (we stayed in the cheaper rooms), but they were clean, comfy and include everything one needs to get a good night's rest. The common areas were quite large and nice to get to know others.

Noni (the owner) is one of the most welcoming and kindest person I've ever met. She knows everything and is willing to answer all your questions. She even picked us up at the bus station in the middle of the night because our bus from Rantepao ran late. Victory hostel is the place to stay in Tentena.

We were able to make the most of our time in Tentena, which was mainly due to the fantastic Noni! She helped us with everything and at any time of the day! We had a lot of fun in Tentena and afterwards we really regretted not having stayed longer.

Noni is the most amazing host, she helped us with transport from Rantepao to Tentena and was always there to answer questions- we felt so at home! The room was spacious and had a powerful fan so we had a really good sleep and the garden in the courtyard is absolutely wonderful to hang out in. Loved everything about our stay!

Rarely have I experienced such warmth, passion and commitment from a hostess as in this hotel. There is a fridge always full of cool Bintang and coffee + water for self-service all the time. The hostess Noni completely takes care of the well-being of her guests: from transport to all possible corners of Indonesia, to scooter rental and recommendations for hidden sights in the area. She also always tries to find the best offer of drivers to continue your journey up to the last minute. Absolute recommendation and try the pancakes especially at breakfast ;)

Victory is right in Tentena town, so it s easy to just reach the alfamart, grab a drink or have a meal nearby by foot. The room is basic but was very clean and has everything you need (even if there isn't, for e.g we found it a bit hot and stuffy in the room and we asked for a fan, Noni gave us her own fan!). Price for the room is super reasonable especially if one take into the account of the invaluable travel advice that Noni gave (that will certainly help you save a lot of money for paying overpriced tour and car). Given of the price of the room, their breakfast is superb and Noni is so generous that she gave us a farewell gift each! If one would like to travel in Tentena, certainly Victory would be a good starting place to organize not just a stay, but also tour and car. Once again, we sincerely thank you Noni for her 5 stars service!

Noni is the greatest person! She is always approachable, gives great information about Tentena, you can rent a scooter and the breakfast is delicious too. The rooms are good and there are different categories. She also helped us organize a driver for the onward journey. I would stay here again anytime.

Excellent service, very good breakfast, big and clean family room. Spacious and airy. Close to the lake shore, supermarket and restaurants. Very good value for the money. And Noni is the perfect host.

We spent one night at Victory while transiting from Rantepao to Ampana.

Noni, the owner, was super helpful and even came to pick us up free of charge from where our bus dropped us. She also helped us sort private transportation to get to Ampana.

Two types of rooms are offered. The standard room (~175k per night) have squat toilets, cold showers, and no sockets in the rooms (sockets are available in the common areas). Deluxe rooms (~275k per night) have hot showers, western toilets, fans, and sockets in the room. Both rooms come with breakfast and WiFi is available.

The rooms were clean but slightly on the tired side.

Would definitely recommend staying here!

I can only say good things about this place. Really good and comfortable hotel. Nice breakfast included in the price too, but most important, amazing host. Noni will help you in everything you need and she knows all about transportation and guides in the area.

What to say - Noni is incredible helpful, providing all the necessary informations for around the area and providing useful hints for other Sulawesi-destinations. Before arriving at her place she also replies emails with questions very quickly. The superior rooms have very comfortable beds and we had the best hot shower for quite a long time. Hanya 5 menit berjalan kaki dari Taman Kota Tentana.
Dekat 2 rumah ibadah yakhi Geraja dan Mesjid. Tempatnya asri, tida berisik.
Fasiltas kamar sesuai dengan harga. Ownernya sangat ramah, menawarkan fasilitas penginapan sebelum kita bertanya, misalnya WIFI, kopi dan teh yang tersedia tanpa henti.

Sangat cocok jika anda hanya mampir kemudian melanjutkan perjalanan keesokkan harinya.
